The Black Sea Fleet, as always, maintains its level. Even a flight to Novorossiysk didn't help.

Very interesting!
Looks like a well planned and executed operation.
However, as always at this point, accurate BDA is still pending. https://twitter.com/NavyLookout/status/2000590869062127884#m

RT @ChristopherJM: New polling from Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) looks at opinions and views of Ukrainians on issues of war and peace, trust in Western partners, and the domestic situation in late November, early December.
TL;DR: Ukrainians don’t see the war ending soon; trust in US has halved since a year ago and trust in NATO dropped 10 points; majority of Ukrainians remain committed to enduring war for better deal, are overwhelming against withdrawing from the Donbas; 60% trust in Zelensky, who took a hit after the corruption scandal but got a bump after letting go of chief of staff Andriy Yermak; no elections until after the war.
🔹72% of Ukrainians are ready to approve a peace plan that, among other things, would include freezing the situation behind the current front line along with security guarantees for Ukraine (and without officially recognizing the occupied territories as part of Russia);
🔹At the same time, 75% (the same as in September) reject a plan that would, among other things, include the withdrawal of troops from Donbas, restrictions on the size of Ukraine’s army, and at the same time, would not contain specific security guarantees;
🔹Only 9% of Ukrainians expect the war to end by the beginning of 2026, and only another 14% expect it to end at least in the first half of 2026;
🔹63% of Ukrainians are ready to endure war as long as necessary (in September it was 62%);
KIIS Executive Director Anton Hrushetsky: “In terms of war and peace, we see a fairly stable situation in terms of public opinion – the majority of Ukrainians are open to negotiations and a diplomatic end to the war and are even ready for difficult compromises (more than 70% are ready to approve the Ukrainian-European plan, which already includes many complex (and certainly unfair) concessions). However, at the same time, the majority rejects a plan that would be perceived as capitulation and would include such unacceptable things as, for example, the withdrawal of troops from Donbas in a package with unspecified security guarantees. And as we see, the majority of Ukrainians are consistently ready to endure the war as long as necessary.”
🔹49% trust the EU, 23% do not trust it (almost unchanged compared to December 2024);
🔹At the same time, from December 2024 to December 2025, trust in the US decreased from 41% to 21%, and in NATO - from 43% to 34%;
KIIS Executive Director Anton Hrushetsky: “In the context of security guarantees, it is important to emphasize that only 21% of Ukrainians trust the US. Given the rather low level of distrust, Ukrainians reasonably demand specific security guarantees that would actually prevent a second Russian invasion. If security guarantees are not unambiguous and binding (in particular, with specific, convincing, strong steps that the US and other partners will definitely take in the event of a new invasion), Ukrainians will not trust them, and this will affect the general willingness to approve the corresponding peace plan.”
🔹61% of Ukrainians trust President V. Zelensky, 32% do not trust him (in early October, 60% trusted him, 35% did not trust him);
KIIS Executive Director Anton Hrushetsky: “The level of trust in Zelensky after the corruption scandal most likely decreased by about 10 percentage points, but after the release of Andriy Yermak and increased pressure from the US, it returned to the previous level and is 61%. Among domestic issues, the absolute majority of Ukrainians do not have a request to hold national elections before the end of hostilities. Trust in V. Zelensky remains high and in the eyes of Ukrainians he retains legitimacy as President. Therefore, the insistence on elections in Ukraine is critically perceived by the public and is regarded as an attempt to weaken the country.”
🔹Only 9% of Ukrainians want elections to be held as soon as possible, even before the end of hostilities.

The technology used here is highly likely novel but with this operation, and also the earlier ones involving USVs against bases, one can draw direct lines to WW2 naval special operations, especially Italian but also others, including the British.

🇺🇸 Long Wall Defense has announced a new ballistic missile defense product: Cyclops, a surface launched exoatmospheric interceptor.
Long Wall's existing production facilities could produce over 100 missiles per year.
SM-3 (analogous product from Raytheon) is facilitized for just 24 missiles per year, by comparison.

GeoConfirmed UKR.
For the first time in history, an underwater drone known as the "Sub Sea Baby" reportedly destroyed a Russian submarine of the Project 636.3 *Varshavyanka* class (NATO designation: Kilo class) in the center (!) of the Russian Navy part at Novorossiysk harbor.
Novorossiysk serves as the main base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet following its withdrawal from Sevastopol harbor after a series of Ukrainian USV attacks there.
While Sevastopol harbor had been heavily fortified against surface drones (USVs), it now appears that Ukraine has developed an effective countermeasure using underwater drones (UUVs).
As if this were not humiliating enough for the Russian Navy, the angle of the footage suggests it was likely recorded from a compromised/hacked camera mounted on the roof of a Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters building.
