RT @Jeff21461: 🇩🇪 Politico reports that the Bundeswehr has submitted a 39-page-long list of planned arms procurements worth up to 377 billion € that will be further spelt out in the 2026 military budget.
In total the document shows about 320 new procurement projects. 178 of these projects already have a contractor lined up, of which 160 are German-based firms.
Among some of those projects are the following:
- 662 Puma IFV and 25 Puma DTT
- 561 Skyranger 30 SPAAG
- 14 IRIS-T SLM Batteries, 396 IRIS-T SLM Missiles and 300 IRIS-T Missiles
- 12 Luna-NG UAV
- 4 uMAWS maritime drones
- 14 billion € in satellite programmes
- 15 F-35A Multi-Role Fighters
- 4 P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft
- 400 Tomahawk Block 5b Cruise Missiles
- Typhoon VLS System
Many of these programmes will be running well into the 2030s as Germany slowly rebuilds its conventional capabilities and increases the manpower pool of its armed forces needed to operate all...
