Ihor and Sava, infantrymen from the 1st Motorized Infantry Battalion of the 93rd Brigade Kholodnyi Yar, eliminated around thirty Russian occupiers in close combat over two months on the front lines. Together with a neighboring position, and supported by mortar crews and drone operators, they managed to hold a significant section of the front near Kostiantynivka.
The first month on position was relatively quiet, the soldiers say, though drone drops forced them to dig deeper and build an underground tunnel for safety.
Then the Russians started to move in. "They came in twos and threes across open ground", the infantrymen recall.
In the first battle, Ihor overcame his fear and took down three Russians at once. "I promised my comrade I’d get a Russian AK-12 and I did!" Later, they captured two more rifles of the same type – one they used in combat, and the other they sent to the rear with a "Vampire" drone.

Winds were blowing to the north at the time of the announced test. (Also been the case on other test like occasions)
