‼️BREAKING: A MiG-31 fighter jet crashes in Russia’s Lipetsk region

MiG-31 interceptor crashed during a routine flight in the Chaplyginsky district of the Lipetsk region. Preliminary reports by some Russian media suggest the aircraft experienced a landing gear malfunction.

The crew reportedly ejecting. The unmanned aircraft went down in a wooded area. Both pilots survived and were located by rescue teams. They were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the two crew-members managed to survive.
