Estonia has sentenced a serviceman to nearly five years in prison for spying for Russia’s FSB.

Estonian citizen Ivan Dmitriev, who between March and May 2025 cooperated with FSB officer Alexander Bobkov, passing on information. Dmitriev was a member of the Estonian voluntary defense organization Kaitseliit, where he carried out various tasks, including operating drones.
