RT @shashj: Spiegel reports that recent drone flights over Schleswig-Holstein in Germany were more serious than reported. Flights over: a power station, a refinery a Kiel hospital, the state gov't HQ, marine division of Thyssenkrupp, an arms firm, Kiel canal & Kiel fjord. "The internal memo states that the state police observed the drones flying in parallel paths, apparently to accurately survey the facilities on the ground"

Elsewhere in Germany: "suspicious drones were also sighted on Thursday over the German Armed Forces base in Sanitz in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. A day later, there was a similar incident over the naval command in Rostock. On Monday, the Federal Police again spotted several suspicious drones in the area of the Rostock overseas port."

@KampfmitKette @ChrisO_wiki: Yes, the shoulder pockets were a nice addition with the Marpat/FROG uniforms we used. My main point is that we moved towards plate carriers in Afghanistan with more hard armor and less soft armor, which made sense for the threats we faced in that environment. The situation will likely be different in a conventional war.
