RT @OSINTua: The only thing that does not allow Russians to attack with AFVs at Lyman direction — river.
That’s why they are placing pontoon bridges to make their logistics better. And we destroy them with the help of aviation and guided bombs.
The situation is getting worse.

RT @andrii_sybiha: For the blind Hungarian officials. Exact route of yesterday’s drone incursion from Hungary into Ukrainian air space. Our Armed Forces have gathered all of the necessary evidence, and we are still waiting for Hungary to explain what this object did in our airspace.

RT @donikroman: 1.

RT @ChristopherJM: President Zelensky today said a Patriot air defense system from Israel (likely among those sent to US for repairs before being delivered to Kyiv) has been operating in Ukraine for a month. He said two more Patriot systems would arrive this fall. The systems will help Ukraine defend against Russia's continued air attacks.

@jasonprgressive @Maks_NAFO_FELLA @grok: There are only 4 active air defense systems in the world that can intercept ICBMs; they are
1. USA’s GBI (Ground-Based Interceptors) - the US has 44 interceptors, almost all in Alaska. However, a newer version of NGI will be built to add at least 20 new interceptors, and then potentially replace all 44 GBIs. Totalling 64 interceptors in the future years. The current GBI interceptors have a 55% success rate at intercepting ICBMs.
2. SM-3 IIA, which is ship-launched, can intercept ICBMs. It likely has a 40-50% success rate. The US currently has around 80 missiles and will receive 24 more in 1-2 years, with an additional 150 by 2030. Japan also has around 20-30 missiles.
3. Arrow 3 System - it could intercept ICBMs but wouldn’t be as successful as GBI and SM-3 IIA, possibly intercepting around 25% to 30% of ICBMs. Israel has only three Arrow 3 batteries, each capable of firing 24 interceptors. Israel used somewhere between 55 and 80 against Iranian IRBMs in 2024 and 2025. Israel is likely to have 50 to 80 Arrow 3 interceptors remaining, with a current production rate of 25 to 35 per year.
4. Russia’s A-135 ABM System - but it is designed to intercept closer to the ground, meaning it wouldn’t be able to distinguish against or intercept before the missiles breaks into MIRVs, like a Trident 2 missile has 8 MIRVs. Another downside is that A-135 sites are located around Moscow only. Russia has five sites, totaling 68 silos. There are likely 40 to 55 loaded silos, and the system's range is 100km.
A-135 has also never been tested against an ICBM; its interception rate would be 20% to 25%, and it wouldn’t be able to take out all the 4 to 8 MIRVs from an SLBM/ICBM, unlike Arrow 3, SM-3 IIA, and GBI, which intercept before MIRVs break apart. Meaning Russia’s system would only be able to intercept around 3 to 4 Trident IIs launched at Moscow before they reach their target, would have A-135s. In contrast, the US has around 280 Trident II missiles in its stockpile.
In conclusion, there are only 4 air defense systems that can intercept SLBMs/ICBMs in the world, and they are:
1. GBI 🇺🇸 - 44 Interceptors- 55% success
2. SM-3 IIA - ~100 missiles - 45% success
3. Arrow 3 🇮🇱 - 50-80 - 30% success
4. A-135 🇷🇺 - 50 missiles - 20% success

This was a year ago, not a single JASSM missile was ever sent. Biden was too weak to approve any, and Trump doesn’t consider them
Ukraine 🇺🇦 could’ve been striking Russian logistical, targets, factories, and oil refineries with JASSM missiles deep inside of Russia for months now https://twitter.com/ArturRehi/status/1830933315185979856#m
