@ukraine_map @Maks_NAFO_FELLA: Ukraine would be able to launch Tomahawks via ground-based launchers. The US has six or more JLTV Tomahawk launchers that they used to test the launching of Tomahawks. They canceled the program in July 2025, but those JLTVs can be sent to Ukraine to launch Tomahawks
The US also has three Typhoon batteries, which can ground-launch Tomahawk missiles; each battery can have four launcher vehicles, which could launch 16 Tomahawks simultaneously. Optimally, at the current rate, one Typhoon battery with four launcher vehicles could be built within 9 to 12 months; however, this could be decreased to 6 months per battery over time.
To recap, the US has six or more JLTV launchers, which were used for testing, each of which can launch one Tomahawk missile, which they can send to Ukraine. This would be the best way to utilize these launchers, rather than repurposing or scrapping them.
