@Schizointel: To be fair: There isn't a direct connection between scrambling the QRA and the threat of an air attack/air defence engagement.
The former have happened many times, over time, when there are strikes against western Ukraine but the latter has only happened once.

@richardmccance @sentdefender: Those drones are falling on civilians, they could’ve killed people. They damaged Polish houses, results in Poland closing a large part of its air space. Poland had to shoot AMRAAMS over their civilians to stop these drones.
It doesn’t matter if they are not aiming for anything, they are deeply penetrating into another countries air space, which results in Poland using missiles to stop it, a serious security threat which affected their entire country. I’m sure you’d be fine with dozens of Chinese military UAVs and missiles flying over your house at night having to be shot down, smashing into your neighbors house, and you would not interpret that as an attack on your country.
