As in previous iterations, drills will be conducted across a wide geography, including training ranges in the Leningrad and Moscow Military Districts, Kaliningrad Oblast, the High North, and Belarus.
The exercise is designed to demonstrate Russian readiness to fight in the Western, Northwestern, and Arctic directions, test the wartime functioning of state institutions, and enhance interoperability between Russian and Belarusian forces.
