@Lachle_allezeit: I don't know whether she was used for military purposes or not but still a civilian ship unless transferred to FSB Coast Guard.

@nothyphenated: Like it or not, Ukraine needs to stay on the moral high ground due to it's dependence on Western support.
Also, in the Black Sea one needs to tread carefully to avoid upsetting the current status quo, which plays in Ukraine's interests.
