“Last night, numerous drones from Russia violated Polish airspace. Our air defences were activated and successfully ensured the defence of NATO territory, as they are designed to do. Several Allies were involved alongside Poland. This included Polish F16s, Dutch F35s, Italian AWACS, NATO Multi Role Tanker Transport, and German Patriots. I commend the pilots and all who contributed to this quick and skillful response.”

🇵🇱🇷🇺 Russian Defense Ministry released a statement regarding the incursion of Polish airspace by Russian UAVs. There's no straightforward denial in this statement:
▪️Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a massive strike with long-range precision weapons of land, sea and air basing, as well with OWA-UAVs on enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr regions, as well as in the cities of Vinnytsia and Lviv.
▪️All goals of this operation were achieved. All planned targets were hit.
▪️There were no planned targets on the territory of Poland for this operation.
▪️The maximum flight range of the Russian UAVs used in the strikes, which allegedly crossed the border with Poland, does not exceed 700 km.
▪️Nevertheless, we are ready to hold consultations with the Polish Ministry of Defense on this topic.

@ukraine_map @Maks_NAFO_FELLA: NATO did a terrible job intercepting drones last night. Not only did they only start intercepting them when they were dozens of kilometers over Poland. They only shot down 4 of 23, or 17% of UAVs. If this was a test, they failed with flying colors.

Saw people complaining that it's "uneconomical" to shot down OWA-UAVs with F-16s.
Ask Israelis or Ukrainians if they calculated when there was a Shahed that needed to be intercepted.
