The Ukrainian side published footage of what it says is the moment of an FPV drone attack on a vehicle carrying the deputy commander of Russia's Northern Group of Forces, Lieutenant General Esedulla Abachev.
As a result of the attack, General Abachev suffered serious wounds. His arm and leg were reportedly needed to be amputated.
The strikes took place in the evening hours of August 16, 2025, in Russia's Kursk Oblast.
