@dillonrpayton: This is one area, among many, in which we have relied heavily on the US.
We have been a partner in the multinational MRTT fleet since 2017 though and one sees them here quite regularly now. I think that fleet will grow as more Nordic countries are joining in.

Ukraine 🇺🇦 to US 🇺🇸 “allow us to defend against Russia by sending weapons”
US: “We can’t because we need to focus on the main threat, China”
Israel: “Can we have US troops, ships, and jets to defend us?”
US: “Well actually, yes”
Israel: “How about you go to war against Iran?”

@SgtRidge: The US 🇺🇸 is not militarily obligated to non-NATO allies. It’s only obligated to defend NATO allies in the event of a war or attack when Article 5 is invoked.
US has plenty of allies, that in no way obligates or justifies using our most important defenses for MRBMs, IRBMs, and ICBMs which are needed to defend US navy ships, US navy aircraft carriers, US navy bases, US air bases, and the US mainland from nuclear weapons attacks from China, Russia, and North Korea.
The US has several hundred SM-3, SM-6, and THAAD missiles each. That’s not a significant stockpile. So far, over 200 have been wasted on inaccurate Iranian missiles fired at Israel, some of the most inaccurate missiles in the world. The US is on track to drain a significant portion of its anti-ballistic missile defense stockpile, shooting down these Iranian missiles, leaving our entire military and country vulnerable to attacks for years, making it much easier to destroy US destroyers and aircraft carriers, and air bases with B-2s. It will take years and billions of dollars to replenish that stockpile. It’s the most stupid decision the US has made militarily in the past decade.
If an ally of the US gets into a war or bombs another country, the US does not need to defend it.
Morocco, Colombia, Brazil, Egypt, Argentina, New Zealand, Bahrain, Kuwait, Thailand, Kenya, and many others are US non-NATO allies like Israel is. The US does not need to defend them, and should not protect them with its most scarce resources, which are required to protect our cities from being blown up by nuclear warheads launched from North Korea or China, and to prevent our aircraft carriers and naval bases from being destroyed.
Suppose Kenya 🇰🇪 or Colombia 🇨🇴 gets into a war with another country. Do you suggest we defend them with everything we have and with THAAD, SM-3, and SM-6 missiles, which we have a low stockpile of, which will take years to replenish, just because they are an ally of the US? And now, potentially hundreds of billions will be wasted on another war.
Should the US have protected Pakistan 🇵🇰 with its destroyers and fighter jets from Indian 🇮🇳 missile attacks two months ago, because they are a US ally?
It’s totally different animals, Russia poses a much larger threat to Europe and the US than Iran ever did. How long is the US going to ignore every escalation Russia is making in Europe?

@ukraine_map @SgtRidge: Ukraine is corrupt, maybe the dumbest excuse for not stopping Russia and allowing Ukraine to defend itself
Multiple investigations have been done, and Ukraine was not found to have misused US aid. At least, Ukraine isn’t corrupt enough to pay most Congress members to support it

How much pro-Russian MAGA propaganda have you watched? Do you understand the Geopolitical consequences of Ukraine losing the war, for Europe and the entire world?
Do you want another Soviet Union and Hitler-type dictator conquering Europe?

@Trader_Bro_: What are you even talking about?
0% of the drones and missiles Russia launches at Ukraine are made in Iran.
All the drones are all made in Russia now. The US has abandoned Ukraine and, for obvious reasons, always puts Israel above its own country. US does whatever Israel wants.
