🇨🇦🇺🇦Canada is preparing a military assistance package for Ukraine, valued at 2 billion Canadian dollars (approximately 1.5 billion U.S. dollars).
The announcement came during a meeting between Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the G7 summit.
The assistance package is set to include among other things: Drones, helicopters and ammunition
In addition to direct assistance, Canada will offer Ukraine a $2 billion loan. Notably, the interest on this loan will be covered using revenues generated from frozen Russian assets.

We have been a partner in the multinational MRTT fleet since 2017 though and one sees them here quite regularly now. I think that fleet will grow as more Nordic countries are joining in.
