Russian Kamov Ka-52 attack helicopter being employed as a drone interceptor during one of the recent Ukrainian attacks on targets inside Russia.

While chasing a Ukrainian OWA-UAV, the Ka-52 fires at least three Igla anti-aircraft missiles. The first two shots are clear misses, and the drone is taken down only on the third try.

❗Just now: NATO Sec Gen Rutte says that all members will meet the current 2% of GDP spending target this year. They will have a new 5% target to work towards though following this month's summit.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 L3Harris has received a contract from NAVAIR for an undisclosed quantity of VAMPIRE counter-UAS systems.

This is the first known order of VAMPIRE by the US DoD for itself; it was contracted for Ukraine via USAI.

This follows news that the DoD has redirected a number of proximity fuzes, also made by L3Harris, for the APKWS equipped Hydra 70mm rockets that VAMPIRE uses, from Ukraine to the US Air Force for use in CENTCOM.
