@NOELreports: There were several Tu-95s that were never destroyed or hit at Belaya, and there were several Tu-160s at Belaya and one at Olenya that were never hit.
The Tu-22M3 has been used only for Kh-22 strikes in Ukraine which makes up around 2% of all missiles fired at Ukraine, while Tu-95s are used for X-101 strikes which makes up about 20x more strikes on Ukraine throughout the war. It would be nice if the focus was more on Tu-95s and Tu-160s than on Tu-22M3s at Belaya; several more Tu-95s and at least 4 Tu-160s could’ve been destroyed if that were the case. And destroying 5x more Tu-95: would’ve had a much more serious impact on Russia’s ability to strike Ukraine with any X-101s.
Because not all Tu-95s need to be taken out for there to be no more X-101 strikes for months or over a year, only like 20 to 30 of 47 Tu-95s are needed since the rest are not modernized, haven’t been used in years, and take months to reconfigure.
