Ukrainska Pravda reports that the commander of Ukraine's 53rd Mechanized Brigade Colonel Oleksandr Sak has been appointed the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces' 59th Assault Brigade. They report that the decision was made by General Syrsky, not USF commander Vadym Sukharevsky. Sak previously commanded the 47th Mechanized Brigade in 2023.

US President Trump held a "brief coordination call" with Ukrainian President Zelensky before his conversation with Putin.
Trump asked Zelensky what he should discuss with Putin. Zelensky replied that Trump should push Putin to accept a 30-day ceasefire, agree to a future Putin-Zelensky meeting that Trump could attend, and reiterate that the US will make no decisions about Ukraine without Kyiv’s input, WSJ reported.
