RT @Jeff21461: 🇺🇦 The executive director of the Ukrainian Council of Gunsmiths, Ihor Fedirko, stated in an interview with Radio NV that Ukraine is now producing "significantly" more 2S22 155mm Self-Propelled Guns than the previously announced 18 per month.

He also stated that this number could increase further to a potential 40+ per month if they manage to take delivery of more truck chassis to build these systems on. To this end they are exploring setting up production on a second chassis from a different truck manufacturer.

There is also still the prospect of a "2A22" towed variant of the 2S22's gun to be produced to further increase the output of artillery systems, as there seems to be no shortage in barrel production.
