🇺🇸🇨🇦 The Canadian Forces are pushing the government to buy M142 HIMARS.

"A 2024 CF briefing on the Long Range Precision Fires project, obtained by the Ottawa Citizen, noted that the acquisition of the equipment could be worth approx $5 billion [$3.47b USD]. The project would involve purchasing launchers, fire control software, munitions and spare parts."

The Army probably wants around 2 dozen HIMARS.

GMLRS-AW unit cost: ~$143,000
ER-GMLRS-U unit cost: ~$479,000
ER-GMLRS-AW unit cost: ~$539,000

Початок кінця, а вірніше початок масових ударів російськими фпв дронами по всій контрольованій Україною зоні на Курщині почався 31 грудня, 2024го року. Саме тоді в районі першого кільця росіяни близько 18 години вечора знищили близько 6 наших авто.
Вже вранці 1го січня небо над всім сектором було російським. Купа дронів почала масове ураження цілей, що заїхати чи виїхати з сектора стало важко реалізуємо.

Звуження флангів - що дало змогу контролювати все небо над нашою Курщиною, що як наслідок вбило нашу логістику, переведення на курщину найкращих фпв екіпажів, використання оптоволокна, штурми північних корейців... це все показувало, що рано чи пізно росіяни підуть у масований штурм, який і призведе до їх успіху. Так і сталось.

31 грудня стало зрозуміло, що якщо щось не зробити з небом і нормально нашу логістику не відновити, то настане кінець будь якому нашому пересуванню (ротація і підвоз бч).

Власне це і сталось.
