Tasked to entrench in a village. From his 5 man group 2 WIA on the way, only 3 arrived.
He was WIA around 20 JAN. Spent weeks in a forest then in buildings scavenging UAF left-overs.h/t @vmanulik

3. A 3rd🇷🇺POW taken by🇺🇦3rd Bde Spartan near Pokrovsk. Unit N/K.
One man was KIA by grenade drop. He hid from shells under a wagon, crawled to a building, past out.
When he woke a grenade arrived. He was offered surrender so agreed. Tells of many KIA in a treeline.

First two POWs in this thread confirm elements of 15th 'Pyatnashka' Bde are not only in Kursk, but are on the Pokrovsk front in the area of the 3rd Spartan Bde.
