Just procuring existing interceptors in meaningful quantities can help drive unit cost down. Putting money into efforts to diversify the missile industrial base would take that a step further.

Конечно, куда большие проблемы начали с падения Свердликово, но и останавливать штурмы, когда все наши основные расчеты FPV на данном направлении были выведены на территорию Сумской области – очень сложно, учитывая, что FPV ключевое оружие данной войны по обе стороны фронта. В ситуации пораженной логистики подвозить дроны и БЧ к ним...

There are a lot of capabilities that European firms simply do not produce and will not produce for the foreseeable future. A 5th gen fighter is just one of them.

It’s why it worked out in Kharkiv and Kursk where Russia had minimal number of troops, but everything else is terrible since 2014 with him

1. The Ukrainian government denied mass mobilization of troops
2. US drip-fed equipment, sending only 200 Bradleys and no tanks, no aircraft; the aid sent arrived 6 months late, allowing Russia to build defensive lines, mine the entire area
3. Then the counter-offensive plan was shared with every major country in Europe and many US Congressmen and Officials in the US making it get leaked to Russia
4. The long-range missiles requested, like ATACMS, were necessary to strike Russian logistics, and they weren’t sent until winter; only 20 of them were sent
That wasn’t Zaluzhnyi’s fault. Yes, he could’ve done better, but those reasons were destined to make it fail. People in Ukraine realize that, which is why he had 90% support, more than Zelensky among Ukrainians. He was replaced by a significantly worse General who repeatedly repeated the mistakes he had made since 2014, after being put in early 2024. It’s been a total disaster; Ukraine hasn’t stopped the Russian advance; they lost so much, with no end in sight with Syrskyi. This is significantly worse than Zaluzhnyi ever did. I said once Syrskyi got replaced, that he would repeated the exact same mistakes he made since 2014, and he did exactly that like it’s so predictable. He did even worse than expected, since Zaluzhnyi lost almost not land with 0 US aid for 5 months, and Syrskyi with US aid has been losing tons of land since the day he took the position.
