🇺🇸🇪🇪 Lockheed Martin is producing 100 HIMARS per year. If a frontline NATO state wants these on an even faster timeline, the US Army should sell them from stock or surrender their own build slots. https://twitter.com/BreakingDefense/status/1890866731800793394#m

@WarMonitor3: “The policy has always been that you take no options off the table” General Keith Kellogg said reports Telegraph

In other words, Kellogg isn’t saying Trump is considering it, just that he took nothing off the table. Which is not true because he took NATO membership off the table

RT @HoansSolo: Mike and I have had a healthy debate about this over the past few weeks. Here are my brief thoughts: I see 3–5 brigade equivalents as theoretically feasible, with the higher number achievable through adjustments to deployment timelines (e.g., the German brigade in Lithuania) and select NATO regional defense plans.

That said, I believe we’re having this discussion backward. The first step should be to define our (i.e. European) objectives in Ukraine and assess how vital they are to Europe’s security—only then can we determine what we are willing to risk. The second step is to outline a coherent operational plan, and the third is to identify the required forces, the mandate under which they would operate, and the duration of their deployment.

The longer we delay this debate—particularly in Berlin—the more apparent it becomes that either Germany does not view Ukraine as crucial to Europe’s security architecture as its rhetoric suggests, or that there is genuine decision paralysis, driven by fear of committing to a military mission without direct U.S. military support.

Also if the Army Missile Procurement J Books went back to providing better FMS data then I could provide a rough answer the lead time question for every prospective customer.
