RT @CalibreObscura: Disconcerting how people online seem to almost *want* there to be cascading sectarian violence in Syria but anyone I speak to on the ground, reading/listening to Syrians themselves- vast majority don't think this way.

Some to treat this like even more of a game than before.

RT @konrad_muzyka: Today's Russian missile attack in context: Compared to previous missile campaigns, the current attack demonstrates a similar number of missiles used as during the initial strikes on the power grid. Generally, Russian missile attacks on critical infrastructure occur every 10-15 days, consistent with the pattern observed in the first campaign. However, it is evident that the second campaign was significantly more destructive, as it focused exclusively on power generation capacity rather than the distribution network. Blackouts have been introduced as a result of today's attack. DTEK confirmed its thermal plant(s) has been hit, but the full scale of the damage is yet to be confirmed.

@Tendar: Russia has no place in Syria. The World would be a better place if Russia stayed in Russia.

Russia couldn’t even stop HTS with 15k fighters that was under-equipped in every aspect compared to Russia and Syria. Russia has complete air supremacy and couldn’t destroy a small bridge

@ukraine_map @Tendar: Russia helps out nearly every major dictatorial regime on the planet and meddles in the politics of nearly every NATO country, and all of its neighbors.

@MontayBayBay @PekkaHellman: I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched this. Masha is a beautiful and amazing Ukrainian 🇺🇦 singer.

RT @GripenNews: Swedish defence bought back another air base. 👍

Åmsele. A former Air Force war base with multiple sidetracks. (cool Viggen photo from that base)

After the cold war sold to private ownership but has remained quite intact. Cost: SEK 12 million ($1 mil).

RT @CarolineRose8: For years, the Syrian regime denied that captagon production happened within territories it controlled.

Yet in the first three days since Assad left, we've found industrial-scale captagon trafficking and manufacturing facilities in:

1. Mazzeh Air Base (likely affiliated with the Air Force Intelligence Directorate)
2. Latakia (found at Munther al-Assad's Syria Car Trading Company)
3. Douma (found at a major production facility believed to be controlled by Maher al-Assad--equipped with all of the precursor materials you'd ever need and even pretty chandeliers!)
4. Undisclosed Location (a warehouse affilicated with Maher where captagon pills were dumped)
5. Undisclosed location (a 4th Division HQ facility where bags of captagon were found)

It looks like local community members and opposition forces are incinerating pills and disassembling facilities as they identify them. We should expect much more to come.
