A new border outpost will be built in Belarus 600 meters from border with Ukraine

On July 11, we wrote that the State Border Committee of Belarus had planned preparations for the construction of a border outpost in Naroulia district. This information was confirmed.

On October 29, the State Border Committee published a tender for the purchase of “engineering services for integrated management of construction activities” for the object: a border outpost in Sviacha (Naroulia district, Homiel region). The settlement is located 600 meters from the border with Ukraine and 36 kilometers from Naroulia district center.

During the construction of the border outpost, it’s planned to build administrative and technical buildings, a kennel for keeping dogs, a dormitory for servicemen, engineering networks and communications. It’s planned that all the facilities will be built by the end of 2026.
