9. Russian POWs captured in Kursk Oblast: 1434th Motor Rifle Regt 'Akhmat Chechnya'.
Two more Akhmat POWs captured by the🇺🇦95th Air Assault Bde, plus 7 KIA. The initial drone film shows 9 of them being tracked then 2 surrendering
They say they surrendered voluntarily, and thank the 95th for medical help and keeping them alive. h/t @vmanulik
The 95th's TG channel says these POWs are from special unit "Akhmat", so its not 100% certain that they are from the 1434th, or another similar unit, but I'll leave them in this thread for now.

@clashreport: That’s complete nonsense. Iran has literally hundreds of air defense systems, and Israel may have destroyed a couple of S-300s but not the vast majority or all air defenses.

They have a couple hundreds Kalibrs that they are just building up, with X-101s they use like 100 to 200 per month, some months don’t even use one, and Kh-59/69 they use 2 or so per day. X-101s they’ve launched ones made from the last quarter.

They have dozens of Bavar 373 and Kordad 15 batteries, launchers which were domestically produced long range air defense systems
The bigger problems isn’t the number of long range air defense systems that Iran has, but the number of ALBMs that Israel has available to them because the number of Iranian air defense systems doesn’t matter when they can’t intercept Israel’s ALBMs. Even if they had 1,000 systems, if those systems can’t intercept ALBMs then they are useless against these types of strikes.
