🚨🇺🇲🇹🇼 The US State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Taiwan of three NASAMS 3 Fire Units, including 3 AN/MPQ-64F1 Sentinel radars, 123 AMRAAM-ERs, and associated equipment & services for an estimated cost of $1.16 billion.
The prime contractor would be Raytheon.
"The description and dollar value are for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded."

The US Air Force will procure the radars from unidentified sources.
