🚨🇷🇺☣️ WaPo Exclusive: Sergiev Posad-6, a Cold War era biological weapons research facility northeast of Moscow, has become a hive of activity since Russia invaded Ukraine.
Old buildings are being renovated and 10 new ones are being constructed. The significant amount of ventilation equipment visible on roof tops indicates that new biolabs are being built.
Russian officials have confirmed that the labs will be studying deadly pathogens such as Ebola.
The Russians continue to demonstrate that everything they accuse Ukraine of doing is just pure projection.

🇺🇸🇮🇱🇯🇵 The Department of Defense has awarded Raytheon a $900 million modification providing for a 2 year extension to an existing IDIQ contract for the operations & sustainment support of the Sea-based, X-band Radar and the 13 AN/TPY-2 radars, both in CONUS & OCONUS.
SBX-1 is one of the sensors for the Missile Defense Agency's Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD), which protects North America from ICBMs.
AN/TPY-2 is the radar for Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), and is also deployed as a stand alone sensor in various locations (including a permanent installation in Israel and two in Japan).
This brings the cumulative ceiling of the contract to $2.6 billion, and extends the duration to Oct 31 2026, for an overall total of 9 years.
The MDA has also just released a new RFI for a future 5 year (2026-2031) sustainment contract for THAAD (both for the US Army and FMS Customers: 🇸🇦🇦🇪). Lockheed Martin is the overall prime contractor for THAAD.
