31. Eastern Liubimovka approx 14-16 OCT.
More details on the nine surrounded 36th Bde marines in tweet 24, who called in artillery on themselves while covering the evac of WIA.
When 4🇷🇺AFVs passed them they realised the situation had worsened. Surrounded, they fought back against fire from all sides. Their WIA helped reload their magazines.
Hand grenades were rained at them and they were called to surrender. They did not want to so collectively decided to request artillery on their position. The artillery including cluster rounds was accurate, but their house was set on fire with the walls collapsing. They decided to leave in a pause before the enemy could recover. The men who could carry weapons went first in column, the wounded taking up the rear.
They took a non direct route, picking up other WIA on the way. They bumped into enemy but the Russians withdrew. Over the open areas they spread out and eventually reached the evac point.
Film released 24.10.24....

🇺🇸🇻🇦🇺🇦🇮🇱 @SecDef says that both he and the Pope share a "common desire to see [...] a ceasefire in both [Ukraine & the Middle East]."

A ceasefire is most certainly not in the interests of either 🇺🇦 or 🇮🇱. The end of hostilities must be based on terms that are acceptable to them.

Good thread and take on the likely North Korean involvement in the war:

"In other words, the latest developments can be seen as mutually beneficial and understandable, instead of Russia being particularly weak or fragile." https://twitter.com/emilkastehelmi/status/1849438331471319125#m

@PanzerJo: As I see it, neither Russia nor North Korea has anything to lose by doing this.
