8. Russian POWs captured in Kursk Oblast: 9th Motor-Rifle Regt.
They arrived from Kursk to Novoivanovka on evening of 6th Aug, set up positions, but in the morning were shot at from vehicles on the road. They retreated under mortar fire. He was WIA then evacuated, but they were all were captured.
In an earlier interview he says UAF were bypassing them in Novoivanovka, they retreated 100 meters. He was WIA, then evac'd in an UAZ with 4 others, but it was shot at and only 3 survived.
Note, he is possibly the same shirtless WIA captured by the🇺🇦82nd Air Assault Brigade in this pic (see separate thread)

"As of September 20th Artur Dobroserdov, Ukraine’s commissioner for missing persons under the Ministry of the Interior, had a list of 48,138 people who were still missing. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022, some 7,548 people who had earlier been on the missing list have been accounted for...

Thanks to evidence from exchanged POWs and from the Red Cross, the Ukrainians know of another 6,000 or so Ukrainians who are being held as prisoners. But that still leaves more than 40,000 unaccounted for. Some are reckoned to be dead but cannot be recorded as such, because no body has been recovered. Mr Dobroserdov says that about 20% of the living POWs whom Russia has returned were not on any list and had often been assumed to be dead. He thinks that more than half of those whose fate is unknown are still alive."

9.🇷🇺POWs captured in Kursk Oblast: 9th Motor-Rifle Regt.
Also from the 9th and initially in Novoivanovka with the same POW in tweet 8, but he managed to retreat.
In a nervous and confused interview he confirms they were evacuated toward Kursk, then sent back to Malaya Loknya.
He unclearly tries to explain how there they were reduced from 11 to 8 men. Later they came under MG fire approaching a treeline. Everyone was KIA except him. He ran to the forest, was spotted by a drone and then captured 2 hours later, having earlier discarded his weapons.
