The blasts occurred around 5km away from the Kursk NPP, and the plant itself wasn't affected.
The Governor of Kursk Oblast Alexei Smirnov claimed that a Ukrainian UAV was taken down by Russian EW equipment, which caused "explosions."

Exactly 12 minutes before it (at 04:43), the “eRadarrua” Telegram channel reported about the Shahed drone entering Belarus airspace and flying towards Mazyr, passing east of Naroulia.
