RT @hissgoescobra: What does a “peace deal” with Russia look like? I visited the Bykivnia Memorial in Ukraine, where 200,000 victims of Russian genocide were tossed into pits. I explain the true cost of Trump’s plans for Ukraine:

RT @SokovNikolai: Good summary in Kommersant of Putin's remarks on changes in the nuclear doctrine: . So far, does not seem like much is new; most provisions can be found in the 2014 Doctrine or the 2020 Decree. Broader list of what will be classified as an attack, (1/2)

From Kommersant's summary on the new nuclear doctrine.
At least for me it's too early for any conclusions, but I've highlighted the IMO most interesting points.
The latter of these two I think is primarily directed at NATO, but the first is potentially a bit intriguing.

@Maks_NAFO_FELLA: How many years are they going to consider it for?
US allows Russia to launch North Korean Missiles, Iranian Drones, build long range kamikaze drones in China, destroy Ukraine’s infrastructure and still is scared to allow a single strike in Russia due to the mythical escalation

@ukraine_map @Maks_NAFO_FELLA: Why does the NYT article not point out that US has no say on how French and UK missiles are used by Ukraine. They are interfering with a weapons system that they have no right to control the usage of.

Because of Russian influence. Russia pays thousands of individuals to push Russian narratives on social media and on tv, they influence US Lawmakers, and US does not do anything about this foreign interference leading to millions of Americans being convinced to be anti-Ukraine 🇺🇦 https://twitter.com/WarMonitor3/status/1838966209661768117#m

@WarMonitor3: Russia has been able to infiltrate US 🇺🇸 politics and news more than the Soviet Union was ever able to. It wouldn’t be surprising if Russia invaded Estonia 🇪🇪 and a 1/3rd of Americans would be convinced Estonia posed a threat to Russia and that Russia is just defending themselves

Why are they not being investigated?

@cym27s @Megatron_ron: That’s true; I think they are doing these attacks to make it look like they responded, but in reality, there is no real military purpose behind them. As of now, today was the first day they launched a ballistic missile at a target that is far from the border, at the Mossad Headquarters in Tel Aviv. But they only launched one missile with an unknown accuracy, which was shot down. Their most effective strikes were to destroy Iron Dome launchers with kamikaze drones. They could take photos with a drone of Ramat David air base 50km from Lebanon a few days ago. If they used the rocket attacks to find the position of an Iron Dome launcher with a drone and then attacked it with several kamikaze drones before it had time to reload, then it would be militarily impactful.
Today, there have been images of a Fateh-110 missile destroyed in a building in Lebanon, and probably dozens or even over 100 long-range missiles were destroyed by Israel in the past month. Those missiles are not being used and stored; if they were serious, they would launch dozens of ballistics missiles at a target instead of one. How much more of an escalation is needed than to kill 16 of Hezbollah’s top commanders. Regardless, the invasion of Southern Lebanon, which may happen, will be very costly for Israel and Hezbollah. Still, Hezbollah’s number one strength was considered to be their ability to launch long-range missiles all across Israel, but they aren’t doing that, and those missiles in limited numbers are being destroyed. Instead, they are doing useless rocket attacks, and Israel sees that there is no real response due to them bombing over 100 targets, killing over a dozen top commanders, and preparing an invasion.

"Russia has established a weapons programme in China to develop and produce long-range attack drones for use in the war against Ukraine, according to two sources from a European intelligence agency and documents reviewed by Reuters.
IEMZ Kupol, a subsidiary of Russian state-owned weapons company Almaz-Antey, has developed and flight-tested a new drone model called Garpiya-3 (G3) in China with the help of local specialists, according to one of the documents, a report that Kupol sent to the Russian defence ministry earlier this year outlining its work.
Kupol told the defence ministry in a subsequent update that it was able to produce drones including the G3 at scale at a factory in China so the weapons can be deployed in the 'special military operation' in Ukraine, the term Moscow uses for the war."
