On September 13-14, the Russian AbakanAir cargo airline made another flight from Belarus to one of the key countries of deployment of Wagner mercenaries in Africa – the Central African Republic.

According to @Hajun_BY, in the evening of September 12, IL-76 (RA-76370) of AbakanAir arrived at Belarus’ Orsha airfield from Moscow, and left Orsha at 10:54 on September 13.

The plane’s further route was: Orsha - Aktau - Jeddah - Bangui, where it landed on September 14 at 13:45 (Minsk/Kyiv time).

This flight is highly likely to be related to the PMC, because the CAR, like Mali, is one of the main countries on the African continent where Wagner mercenaries have been deployed for a long time (at least since 2018).

Over the past year, we’ve already recorded 4 flights from Belarus to Mali and CAR, which could be in the interests of PMC Wagner, using planes of the already mentioned AbakanAir, as well as the Belarusian Rada Airlines.

As for AbakanAir, together with today’s flight, this airline has already made 3 flights to Mali and CAR from Belarus.
We recorded the first such flight in October 2023, when the AbakanAir plane flew from Babruisk airfield (the nearest to the Wagner camp in Tsel) to Mali.

Later, in November 2023, the same airline performed another flight from Babruisk, but to Bangui (CAR).

Thus, along with today’s flight, there’ve already been 5 flights of AbakanAir and Rada Airlines from Belarus to the key countries of deployment of PMC Wagner on the African continent over the past year.
