RT @FRHoffmann1: RCM² is now officially promoted by @MBDADeutschland as the successor to the Taurus KEPD-
The cruise missile, according to the post, is based on "Taurus genes," indicating that many internal components, especially the warhead, likely remain mostly unchanged, with possibly some minor modernizations compared to Taurus MLU.
Externally, the major difference seems to be a fuselage enhanced for low observability—one of the key requirements I had specified for the Taurus
The pressing questions now are its cost, the exact capability profile, and the delivery timeline MBDA Germany can offer.
If the answers are reasonable, I hope the German Air Force will consider placing a sizeable order for delivery over several years. I'd much rather have a European solution than just stocking up on JASSMs. https://twitter.com/MBDADeutschland/status/1831629382122713452#m

RT @deaidua: Germany is punishing the Swiss defence industry for blocking deliveries of Swiss-made arms to #Ukraine!
German authorities have informed the Swiss Federal Office for Defence Procurement in a letter that the German Bundeswehr would refrain from procuring certain Swiss armaments in future.
For example, Switzerland prevented the delivery of around 12,000 rounds of ammunition for the Gepard SPAAGs, which are a critical air defence asset in Ukraine.

🇨🇿🇸🇰🇺🇦 CSG's MSM Group has opened a new explosive filling line at their VOP Nováky facility in Slovakia.
It will load shells (including 81mm mortar, 120mm tank & 122mm artillery) with explosive filler. Slovakia's previous Defense Minister said last year that MSM's order book was full, almost entirely for Ukraine.
Slovakia expects to produce 125,000 large calibre shells this year, and aims to do 200,000 next year.

@NedSnow2019: Keep in mind that this is RHM globally, not just Europe, but 600k is definitely too low for Europe. I don't believe the EU even knows what Europe's actual production figures are because individual countries/companies refuse to answer that question.

RT @ralakbar: THE LATEST!!! White House says "there's been no change in our policy with respect to long range missile capabilities and where and what and how Ukraine can use those capabilities"
Kirby just now: "... No change in our policy to speak to today. I would also tell you that that we are as we have been every day, including while Jon [Finer] was in Kyiv, having a conversation with our Ukrainian counterparts about what they need, what's going on on the battlefield, and what support they require to continue to to have success on the battlefield. So those conversations are iterative, as they always have been, and in fact, will continue at a higher level at the end of this week, when Secretary of Defense holds his next iteration of the Ramstein group. So you'll see that for yourself in Germany here today and tomorrow. But again, no change to our policies one way or another to speak to."

Mesko also produces 122mm & 152mm.
@JakubPalowski might be able to say more.

RT @Teoyaomiquu: Friends, after a pause, I have started a new fundraiser to help Ukraine. The donation link is at the end. Unfortunately, the situation on the frontlines isn't improving, but we can help. Please read the text, watch the video, like, comment, retweet, and donate.
After delivering multiple excavators to the Ukrainian Armed Forces and speaking with engineering units, I concluded that we need a more holistic approach.
Specifically, to help build fortifications for motivated units, we need to provide both transport and unloading equipment to offer a complete solution instead of just a simple digger. While an excavator alone is important and solves many issues, pairing it with a truck equipped with a manipulator arm can be a force multiplier.
This combination can not only deliver the excavator itself but also quickly unload fortification materials such as logs, concrete structures,...
