"A senior Dutch military officer confirmed that the Netherlands will pay for a private contract between a civilian maintenance company and the Ukrainian Air Force to support the F-16s.
“We support the Ukrainian government financially to make those contracts with private partners to see if they can hold the aircraft up and running in the future,” said Gen. Onno Eichelsheim, the chief of defense for the Netherlands, speaking to reporters in Washington on Wednesday."

❗🇺🇲🇺🇦 The US Department of Defense has awarded Lockheed Martin a $3.43 billion contract to produce GMLRS for the US Army, USMC, and FMS customers.
The Army's FY24 base budget request was $942 million, in support of 5000 missiles, associated equipment, additional program costs and advanced procurement. The expected FMS buy was 9000 missiles. The actual Army order quantity will be significantly higher due to additional missiles being ordered with reprogrammed replacement funds from the Ukraine Supplementals. https://twitter.com/ColbyBadhwar/status/1806071922826113139#m

RT @InsiderGeo: The Ministry of Defense of Romania sent to the parliament a draft law on the transfer of the Patriot missile system to Ukraine. It is planned to be considered at the autumn session, which will begin next week, on September 2.
"Completing the development of the transfer law will contribute to emphasizing Romania's position as a regional guarantor of security and strengthening partnership relations with the United States," says the document sent by the Ministry of Defense to the parliament.
The Ministry of Defense in Bucharest plans to transfer to Kyiv one of the seven Patriot systems purchased in the USA in the 3+ configuration.
Four of them have already arrived in Romania, the other three will arrive in the near future.
