@andriyhaydash @calxandr: "Powder" is an ambiguous term that isn't really useful in a technical discussion, its what the Europeans use though because they don't have precise nomenclature. With regard to the propellant base for and production of artillery charges, it's a bigger problem for Europe than the US. Propellant for and production of SRMs is a problem for everyone.

@t64_bv @nutella__TR @Econwatc_h: Drones require more sophisticated technology than artillery shells. Harder to scale. With limited USAI funds available, drones should be at the bottom of the priority list. Virtually every penny of that should have been spent on PATRIOT. The Biden Admin is clueless though.

@CXCarroll @everdawn7: The US wasn't actually producing that much back then, except for maybe during the Gulf War and even then I don't think so. They still had their Cold War era facilitization then but that was steadily eroded through the BRAC process during the decade.

1.🇷🇺POWs captured in Kursk Obl by🇺🇦225 Assault Battalion.
A captured Nigerian (see tweet 2) who commanded a automatic grenade launcher unit.
Earlier (12.08) 225th showed film from the phone of a KIA 18th Motor Rifle Batt soldier. A soldier of Afro-Caribbean origin is visible along with an AGL, but its not 100% clear if its the same soldier.
His beard and attire are different, but the beard may have grown in the meantime.
The description in the 2nd film says this group was eliminated although the soldier of Afro-Caribbean origin reportedly escaped death. h/t @vmanulik
