"Finger in the wind" assessments on what the weather might mean for operations are not very useful.

It's better to start by looking at what happened over the course of previous autumn-winter-spring periods.

It appears the Ukrainian offensive in Kursk stalled pretty quickly. Most of these gains were made the fist week or so. Blue line is the current furthest UA advances (not controlled territory) the black line is the same but for August 19th.

Today, the Telegram channel of the 61st Fighter Air Base (military unit 54804, Baranavichy airfield) reported an increase in the intensity of “patrolling the airspace along the state border of the southern operational direction with Su-30SM fighters.”

It was noted that flights are carried out at an altitude of about 8000 meters. According to @Hajun_BY, the intensity of flights of the 61st air base has indeed increased in recent weeks. Almost every day the fighters conduct flights in the southern regions of Belarus.
