@KyivIndependent: Thank you President Biden, thank you Jake Sullivan for giving Russia the time to do this. History will look negatively at their weak decisions and inaction

RT @dim0kq: 🚨 Kursk offensive breakthrough: Day 1.

This is how the units we support made it - the very initial breakthrough. Russians surrendered to them en masse.

This thread will help you understand why Ukraine won the battle of Kursk border. You can support the units directly.

@Alec99053772281 @OlgaBazova @squatsons: Ukraine never had 7 Patriots, they have 3. A Patriot system has never been confirmed destroyed. The most that was confirmed were 2 of the +6 launchers from system, and another launcher was damaged recently, so 3 Patriot launchers at most were confirmed throughout the whole war.

@SteveCo64124536 @KyivIndependent: The goal is to allow Ukraine to defend itself as best as possible, give Ukraine the weapons they need so they can win the war and take back the territory Russia illegally occupies, and weaken the Russian military. Ukraine isn’t able to defend itself as effectively if the same aircraft launching glide bombs at the country are now out of ATACMS range. They should’ve been allowed to strike with ATACMS and destroy those aircraft a couple months ago, but the US was too scared of escalation and still is.

The only option now, is to give Ukraine long range cruise missiles like JASSM, Storm Shadow to strike air bases further than 300km away, or develop another missile like ATACMS with a further range to hit those air bases. It was an important opportunity that they purposefully decided not to act on. It’s almost like US is doing everything they can to make sure Ukraine doesn’t win the war but does lose too, and protect Russian military assets in Russia, while Russia can launch 328 missiles and drones at Ukraine in 24 hours and fly missiles over Poland without being shot down.

@Alec99053772281 @OlgaBazova @squatsons: I don’t get your point I’m saying that three entire patriot systems were sent to Ukraine through the entire war. The only confirmation we have of Russia hitting them are two launchers being destroyed a couple of months ago and another launcher being damaged around a week ago.

@Alec99053772281 @OlgaBazova @squatsons: And I ask for the evidence that an F-16 was destroyed. This is the first time hearing about that claim from you, and there’s no evidence to support it as of today. The F-16s are in the middle of the country being rotated throughout air bases and used for air defenses mainly.

RT @RoubleDestroyer: Ukraine’s not going to lose this war because some in the west are afraid of them winning it.

They continue to prove that.

Anyway, what 🇷🇺 oil refineries doing?

@daysbwtweenus @SteveCo64124536 @KyivIndependent: That’s not true. There is certain equipment that have been enough like Javelin Anti-Tank Missiles and HIMARS GMLRS. Others like 31 tanks, and at this point 6-10 fighter jets, and 3 patriot systems, it’s no where near enough, there’s no significant impact it brings if supplies in such small quantities.

And this is not only Ukraine holding that position, it’s held by many European countries, by military officials, by US senators and representatives, and by many US tax payers. We would like to see the war won and not dragged on forever because Russia will continue their aggression if the West does not start taking the war more seriously and ignoring great opportunities due to the ridiculous fear of escalation. If they did this two years ago, Ukraine would be much better off than the war now and would’ve taken much more territory at this point. But they had to drag everything out as long as possible, and then give a small amount of needed equipment, not enough to defend well or take back territory. And in addition to that they placed restrictions on the usage of weapons in Russia. This all plays into Russia’s favor.

Updated map from @Deepstate_UA showing Russian advances on the Pokrovsk and Vuhledar fronts. Russia expanded its control over Novohrodivka with its forces are approximately 9km from the city. Russian forces captured Memryk and Kalynove and have approached the eastern outskirts of Selydove. Deepstate also notes that Russia is attempting to advance along the western and northern flanks of Vuhledar. They now mark the area west of Pavlivka and near Vodiane as grey zone. Russia expanded its control in Kostyantynivka but they say fighting continues.

@Beganovic2024 @secretsqrl123: This pier cost $230 million. That has to come out of the DoD's O&M budget. Those dollars could have been spent on the DoD's own unfunded priorities. Which is why the State Department should be reimbursing them for the cost. We still don't know if that will happen though.

RT @DefMon3: I've been looking at the daily Russian advance in Ukraine. Even if it's still a short time period it seems like Russian advances started to increase in early August. I applied a 5 day moving average to visualize it better.

Overnight, Ukrainian strikes hit a fuel depot located near the Russian city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in Rostov Oblast, which resulted in a significant fire at the facility.

This fuel depot was already struck by the Ukrainians at the beginning of August, though the latest attack appears to have caused more damage.

This is a relatively new facility; its construction was completed less than 3 years ago.
