To sum up, relaxing caveats on Western systems is IMO the right thing to do and there are also other good target sets inside Russia I haven't mentioned in this thread.

However, this is unlikely to blunt the Russian strike campaign.

@The_Lookout_N: The point is that a lot of people are trying to frame this as the United States being unwilling to sell PrSM at all, which is laughably absurd. As you say, negotiations continue. The Army isn't going to sacrifice their own recapitalization needs for prospective FMS customers. If Norway really wants PrSM they can either place a large order to help finance the production ramp up, or ask if they can license produce PrSM like Australia.

@Capt_Navy: I did say nearly a year ago that the BSF could continue to do this, launching strikes which is one of their main missions in the war, from Novorossiysk, and cautioned against underestimation but don't know if everyone wanted to hear that.
