Polish Major General Maciej Klisz said that the object was tracked by at least three radar stations but the order to shot it down wasn't given due to the "lack of compliance with procedures, i.e. visual confirmation of the destruction of the object."
The object reportedly disappeared from radars approx. 25 km deep into Polish territory. The search is ongoing.

🇺🇲🇳🇴 I seriously doubt that the US "said no" to a Norwegian Letter of Request to procure PrSM & ER-GMLRS.
More likely, they asked for delivery timelines that the US Army cannot commit to, so they opted to buy ATACMS & baseline GMLRS instead.

Nor wants PrSM and GMLRS ER for the possible HIMARS acquisition, but so far the US has said no.
A decision whether to expand the competition or choose US will be made soon.
