Ukraine Battle Map (Twitter)
@JamesRaxz: Bradleys and Strykers, 500 of +8,000 were sent to Ukraine. US ordered and sent zero F-16s to Ukraine; Ukraine ended up getting one of the worst versions of the F-16s that Europe has with much worse radars than current F-16s, meaning they are basically useless against shooting down Russian fighter jets; they also did not get nearly enough JDAM-ERs, no JSOW glide bombs, as of today no JASSM. And Ukraine, after two years, got 6 F-16s, that’s it, the bare minimum.
Patriots: US sent 2 of them out of the 50 they currently have active and many more that are not being used. Raytheon said they could scale up production of Patriot if they got more orders overtime, The US ordered 0 Patriots for Ukraine. NATO, altogether with US, has around 90 or more SAMP-T and Patriot systems active after sending 4. Ukraine got 4 systems as of now, and may get 5 more this is over a span of potentially years. Meaning after 3 years, Ukraine has 4 systems. If they sent around 10% of their systems they currently have or leases them to Ukraine and ordered more for themselves then Ukraine would be much better protected. NASAMS production also needs to speed up, the company is so behind on making the 12 systems ordered because they have made 4 of them after 2 years. It got so bad that Norway together with another country had to get a NASAMS combined for Ukraine. Vampire systems, the ones on the small trucks, Ukraine got 10-12 of those trucks, that’s what US ordered. Cluster Munitions, both 155mm and MLRS they do not send nearly enough, meaning Ukraine only has sufficient shells for one front at a time. US has tons of these.
ATACMS, was not only was sent too slow, but was sent in quantity over six months, of 150 to 200 missiles, out of USA’s 2,200 ATACMS missiles with 500 more that they will be receiving. To say US doesn’t have enough missiles is inaccurate, US has over 14,000 long range missiles of Tomahawks, JASSM, ATACMS, SLAM-ER... 46% of those are JASSM, it is the highest produced and most sustainable missile that US has. The US also mainly needs the JASSM-ER version for China, and they have 2,000 of the JASSM 370km missile which should be sent to Ukraine to strike Crimea and Russia.
This also ignores the main factor of China invading Taiwan which will be the outcome of the Ukraine war, if Russia is allow to continue in Ukraine and if Ukraine doesn’t get missiles they need without restrictions to strike Russia, then China will see that as a sign to attack Taiwan, take land, and be less fearful of strikes into their own country because of escalation. It also ignores that the chances of China currently invading Taiwan is basically none and the war is not only unlikely but would take many years to occur, by that time US would have tens of thousand of more long range missiles including JASSM-ERs, PRSM, Hypersonics, LRASMs, and more. This is a common excuse used not to send Ukraine missiles, it is one of the reasons ATACMS was not sent for so long as well as the escalation excuse, and it only benefits Russia at the end of the day. Sending Ukraine 500 ATACMS and 500 JASSM to use against important targets, is 7% of USA’s currently missile stockpile, likely less than 4% of it in the future years, that will not weaken USA’s advantage over China and will only show sign or deterrence and show China, strength, that US will do anything it can to defend Taiwans against China if an invasion would take place. Also, the current restrictions benefit Russia because Ukraine cannot use valuable missiles on more important targets.
There is no color coating this. US seriously lacks aid to Ukraine right now, and has decreased the amount of aid they send to Ukraine by 50% per month compared to what it was earlier in the war, when Ukraine needs more aid to win now. This lack of actions sends a message of weakness and makes European countries also wonder why they need to increase aid when US is barely sending it.

@ukraine_map @cym27s: The only limitations would be the number they could launch at once, reload at once. But we need to remember Russia has been collecting and stocking missiles for weeks or months to do such large strikes at once. It’s a consistent pattern they have done throughout the war.
