146. Significance of today's claims.
RuAF confirmed withdrawing on Kyiv-Chernihiv axis.
UAF pursue
If Peremoha is confirmed liberated (likely) then remaining H-07 route to Sumy is freed (pink)
Blue - UAF
Red - RuAF
Turquoise - UAF claimed captured 31.03.22.
-----------
@Arslon_Xudosi:
Pravy Sektor claims the recapture of the following villages:
-Petrivka
-Staryi and Nova Bykiv
-Havrylivka
-Ukrayinka
-Makiivka
-Tereshkivka
-Halytsya
-Yakhnivka
-Svitanok
All in Chernihiv oblast, if true it is a huge Russian retreat/setback. https://t.co/wqrTbpy41i

@Villager1244 A bit of both and in retreat to shorter lines I guess. Could turn into rout if UAF is quick.

146-147. Also today confirmation that Lukashivka was liberated. Sloboda was already reported so on 30 March (location confirmed in tweet 132-33). The capture of both villages suggests further UAF de-blocking actions from Chernihiv towards the south west.
-----------
@RALee85:
The Ukrainian military has claimed it has retaken Sloboda and Lukashivka in Chernihiv Oblast.

147. As described.
Scroll up to tweet 132-33 in this thread for the destroyed T-72B3 mentioned.

@Arslon_Xudosi:
Battle of Sloboda: Ukrainian forces managed to capture two Russian T-72B3 tanks (First tank pic 1, second tank pic 2 & 3) while liberating the village yesterday (Another T-72B3 was destroyed as well, already posted). https://t.co/KD51IXRFz6

84. Unknown location in Kharkiv & probably from earlier battles before Malaya Rohan. New captures of:
TZM-T transloader for a TOS-1A thermobaric MLRS.
MT-LB including RPO-A Shmel rocket-propelled flamethrower
Destroyed tank + 2S3 Akatsiya 152mm SP howitzer.

@RFERL:
In Ukraine's Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian military shows off equipment left behind by invading Russian troops. Some will be reused by the Ukraine's armed forces, while other pieces will be left where they are. @radiosvoboda spoke to Mykhaylo, a Ukrainian serviceman, on March 30. https://t.co/JjyPDv1Rzg

RT @RALee85: Another video of Chechen Rosgvardia troops shooting without looking through their sights. Typically, you provide suppression before and while you fire an RPG, but they decided to do the opposite.

There is a fire at an oil storage depot in Belgorod. No cause has been given yet.

As Mike notes, a better question is what happens with the conscripts nearing the end of their year of service. The Russian military depends on many of them signing contracts. Moscow may need to provide a greater financial incentive this time. 2/
-----------
@KofmanMichael:
The biannual draft is set to take in 134.5k conscripts starting April 1. However, the question is what will Moscow do with current conscripts due to be released from service. Many are in supporting roles, and some are in the war despite official promises they wouldn’t be.

"Russia is running its military campaign against Ukraine out of Moscow, with no central war commander on the ground to call the shots, according to American officials who have studied the five-week-old war."

RT @JominiW: 2/ Humanitarian Impact. Refugees in various European countries exceeds 5.3 million, with over 6.5 million IDPs in Ukraine. Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure constitutes a heinous war crime by willfully causing great suffering against civilians.

This is another notable failure of the Russian Air Force. Russia should be able to hold these positions with ground forces supported by UAVs, artillery, and air support. The fact that Ukraine can mass large enough forces to go on the offensive is a bad sign for Russia.

If you're wondering how Yesterday went for Russian troops invading Ukraine...
Here's a map of the 40 (!) towns and settlements claimed recaptured by Ukrainian forces yesterday. Along 8 different axes of advance.
Seems like half withdrawal, half rout. https://t.co/yYgXL2TrkF
