This is a misleading tweet. Russia does a biannual draft in the fall and spring, and the announcement today is standard. Not to mention, the guys who will get conscripted won't arrive at their units and be trained for months. It is unrelated to the war.

'Special Military Operation' sounds hilarious when you see these pics...... except when you think of all the death they brought. Its not over, but at least this lot go home defeated, their equipment left as junk. Great thread of pictures from Kyiv axis - west side of the river.

Unfortunately I have not been able to follow the southern fronts after the first few days, but now some good news from there too. In linked tweet 'UAF 60th Mechanized Brigade claimed capture of: T-64 tanks, a BMP-2, a BMD-2, + ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft auto-cannon mounted on a MT-LB.
