The State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Israel of 50 newly built F-15IA (EX derivative) fighter jets, 25 F-15IA upgrade kits for existing F-15Is, plus associated equipment and services for an estimated cost of $18.82 billion.
The prime contractor would be Boeing. Offset agreements are expected and would be negotiated by Israel and Boeing. Deliveries are expected in 2029, indicating the USAF has not agreed to surrender any build slots.
"The description and dollar value are for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded."

@Binio__: The USAF will pay ~$85-$86 million per aircraft for the newest lots. IAF will probably end up paying somewhat more due to the unique config.

@YoussefBenAlay8: Qatar hasn't actually bought the EX itself. The EX is a further development of the F-15 FMS variant that was built for them & the Saudis, with the latter considering procuring the EX & upgrading their existing fleet to thst standard. USAF will pay ~$85-$86 million per aircraft for the latest Lots.

@John_Hudson @Boshnackttack1 @Dylan_Housman: Israel's annual FMF grants don't cover everything they buy via the Foreign Military Sales program, let alone all the Direct Commercial Sales as well. This single bundle will eat up over 6 years worth of FMF appropriations.
