🇺🇸🇸🇦 The Biden Admin is lifting their holds on two separate arms sales to Saudi Arabia of precision guided bombs.
In December 2020 the Trump Administration approved a possible Foreign Military Sale of 3000 GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs, associated equipment, and services, for an estimated cost of $290 million. SDB is made by Boeing.
Around the same time, SA was also pursuing a Direct Commercial Sale with Raytheon for 7000 Paveway IV bombs, for an estimated $478 million.
The FMS was put on hold, and as best I can tell, Raytheon never applied for the export license, having been told that it was unlikely to be approved by the Biden Admin, which had just taken over.
WSJ reports, citing US officials, that deliveries will likely start in several months. I can't express any level of certainty in that though. SDB production has a backlog, so imminent delivery would require some bombs to be sold out of DoD inventory.

Baza: Russian authorities are strengthening security measures in the city of Moscow due to the risk of an infiltration by sabotage groups.
According to sources, police officers have been warned of possible attempts to seize their weapons.
Ad hoc reserves are being formed within Rosgvardia's units, Baza says.

SRMs are the single biggest bottleneck in the production of missiles, with just two main domestic suppliers for the entire industry in the United States: Northrop Grumman & L3Harris' Aerojet Rocketdyne.
The initial effort will focus on production of SRMs for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control's Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS). Both companies will invest millions into the effort, with an objective of General Dynamics Ordnance & Tactical Systems being able to produce thousands of SRMs at their Camden, AR facility. The first motors are expected to roll off the production line next year. LMMFC & GD-OTS want to achieve full rate production as soon as possible.
