For the first time, Ukrainian leadership openly describes the incursion into Russia as the "operation in Kursk Oblast".

The operation was mentioned by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrskyi during the Stavka meeting, chaired by Ukrainian President Zelensky.
