@kcirtem: A bigger arsenal, both nuclear & conventional, is half of the deterrence equation. The United States, and NATO collectively, obviously bests both Russia & China on this. Where we fail is the other half: will. The United States & much of NATO are not willing to flex our muscles.
The Russian playbook is very simple: They know that they have no hope against the US/NATO in any large scale exchange, so they have to cow us into deferring to them. They have been extremely successful at this and continue to be extremely successful. Their nuclear sabre rattling has convinced the Biden Administration that we're on the knife's edge of World War Three. In reality, the US/NATO would have near total control of the escalation ladder if we just grabbed it back from the Russians. https://twitter.com/kcirtem/status/1820860381679497406#m

RT @Gabriel64869839: The UK should follow on this. GMLRS and PrSM have been identified as pretty much priority number 1 in the Army plans. Production capability at home should follow naturally from that. https://twitter.com/ColbyBadhwar/status/1820940127893381165#m

RT @RALee85: Some early thoughts about this operation. The most important factor in the war right now is Russia's manpower and force availability advantage, in particular with infantry. That is the primary reason why Ukraine is struggling to hold back Russian advances in Donetsk oblast. Russia's Kharkiv offensive further stretched Ukraine's reserves, which means Ukrainian commanders have limited forces to reinforce units that are under pressure or to stop breakthroughs. https://twitter.com/RALee85/status/1820857236387704932#m
