@cym27s: I agree Hamas does not have much ability to strike outside of Gaza. Only when using unguided rockets. Their most effective way is to defend in Gaza. Hezbollah has the capabilities to do massive retaliation on Israel, but will they do it or not because of a war or larger response?

@cym27s: There has got to be some good reason. Israel kills their senior leaders, but they don’t kill Israeli senior leaders even though they have the capability to do so. There must be a reason, maybe, air strikes against other senior leaders, a war, US aid increase, or another response.

@DaldoWaldo @squatsons: I think that if Israel does start a war and/or a war with large ground operations into Lebanon then they will take serious losses because Hezbollah is significantly more equipped than Hamas and have the ability to strike almost anywhere in the main parts of Israel and defend too.

Judging by the official statement of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces the strike on Russian aviation ammunition storages was carried out by Navy, which means Neptune missiles were likely used.
“Tonight, an attack was made on a warehouse for storing weapons and military equipment near the settlement of Kursk (Russian Federation).
The work of enemy air defense and explosions at aiming points were observed. Combat work was carried out by designated units from the forces and means of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense forces.
Detailed information about the result of the damage is being clarified.”

У ніч на 31 липня 2024 року ворог атакував керованою авіаційною ракетою Х-59 із повітряного простору окупованої Херсонщини та 89-ма ударними БпЛА типу «Shahed» із районів Єйськ, Сеща, Курськ, Приморсько-Ахтарськ. Основний напрямок удару – Київщина!
❗️ Це одна із наймасованіших атак ударних БпЛА «Shahed-131/136». Таку ж кількість «шахедів» ворог застосовував у новорічну ніч 1 січня 2024 року. Як тоді, сьогодні українська протиповітряна оборона вистояла і відбила масовану атаку ворожих безпілотників.
💥 Із 89-ти ударних БпЛА «Shahed-131/136», виявлених радіолокаційними підрозділами Повітряних Сил, збито усі 89!
... Також збито керовану авіаційну ракету Х-59, якою ворог атакував Миколаївщину.
