RT @John_A_Ridge: @JohnH105: One imagines that standards for processing and managing acoustic tracks will be incorporated into future C2 platforms for IAMDS in addition to traditional RF tracks.
Significant potential opportunity for IBCS, both for the U.S. Army and FMS customers.

Ukraine’s “Sky Fortress” system of cheap acoustic sensors “was so effective that the engineers behind the system were invited to demo it at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, Hecker said,” and “Romania recently did a demo with the system.”

🇸🇰🇺🇦 Bloomberg: Slovakia Is Arming Ukraine Even Though It Doesn’t Want To
Despite the Slovak government's pledge that they won't provide military aid to Ukraine, commercial contracts for ammunition are still pumping out shells.
Pre-2022 invasion, Slovakia was producing just 20,000 155mm shells annually.
This year, they expect to produce 125,000 large calibre shells.
Next year they aim to produce 200,000, per Defense Minister Robert Kalinak.
His predecessor, Jaroslav Nad, had said last year that virtually all of Slovakia's production, both for that year and the next 3 was already booked for Ukraine.

@mikeplunkettuk @TomSharpe134: A few thoughts on article and thread:
Unless the political decision to go after neutral merchant ships is taken, there aren't many targets for the Russians to go after in the Western Black Sea.
The largest would be the Border Guard Stenka's. This means we don't have much data to assess what effects ASuW-wise BLKFLT actually could generate.
Also, I think the land situation needs to be taken into account when trying to determine how exposed Crimea actually is. Large, successful Ukrainian offensive(s) than can threaten Crimea are unlikely on the current trajectory.
