The EU adjusted the restrictions imposed against Belarus in the 8th sanctions package and synchronized them with the sanctions against Russia.
“In order to enforce the EU sanctions, starting from July 16, 2024, persons are prohibited to enter the territory of the Republic of Latvia by vehicles registered in the Republic of Belarus,” the State Revenue Service of Latvia reports. The ban applies to border checkpoints at Latvia-Belarus and Latvia-Russia borders.
The ban will not apply to vehicles for use by diplomatic and consular representatives, including delegations, embassies and representatives.
The ban on transportation is also expanded. Starting from July 1, 2024, any road transport company established in Belarus is prohibited to transport goods in the EU using trailers registered in Belarus.

Representatives of the regime are allowed to travel to the EU, trade with the regime continues. Somehow, Belarusians, who support Ukraine and continue their struggle against the regime up to this day, are punished for the deeds of the aggressor. Тільки російський пікап перетнув держкордон під Харковом, як одразу був знищений маленькими злими пташками. Спіймали підора на завозі провізії,гадаю оркам вода в таку спеку буде зайвою. Екіпаж пікапа залишився всередені ,KFC відпочиває)

"Пять человек погибли и 26 пострадали при взрыве газовых баллонов на строительстве ГЭС в Чечне. По данным SHOT, трагедия произошла сегодня в районе 8:30 на стройке Башенной ГЭС на реке Чанты-Аргун в Итум-Калинском районе.
Сначала в результате сварочных работ рванул один баллон, затем — ещё несколько, стоявших рядом. Все погибшие — рабочие стройки."
